Sake Club Membership & Subscription Agreement

Effective Date: August 27, 2026

This Sake Club Membership & Subscription Agreement (“Agreement”) governs participation in the IN Sake Museum Sake Club (“Sake Club”), operated by Yamamori & Jiou Jiu Shang, Inc. d/b/a IN Sake Museum (“IN Sake Museum,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By enrolling in the Sake Club, you (“Member” or “you”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms below.

1. Eligibility

You must be 21 years of age or older to enroll in the Sake Club.

By enrolling, you represent that:

  • You are at least 21 years old.

  • You are legally permitted to purchase alcoholic beverages.

  • The information you provide during enrollment is accurate and complete.

  • You will provide valid government-issued photo identification when requested for alcohol pickup or tasting.

Alcoholic beverages and alcohol-related benefits will not be provided to anyone under 21.

2. What's Included in Each Collection

A new Sake Club collection is offered every three (3) months.

Each collection includes:

  • Three (3) expertly curated 720ml sake bottles

  • A Flavor Data Card featuring:

    • Rice Polishing Ratio (精米步合)

    • Sake Meter Value / SMV (日本酒度)

    • Acidity (酸度)

    • Five-Point Flavor Radar Chart

  • Selections curated around your chosen Flavor Profile

Specific sake selections may vary based on seasonality, brewery and importer availability, inventory, and other circumstances.

3. Flavor Profiles

Members may select one of three Flavor Profiles:

Crisp & Savory
Clean, dry and food-friendly selections with a crisp, savory character.

Floral & Fruity
Aromatic and expressive selections with floral, fruity and balanced characteristics.

Palate Explorer
A broader rotating selection designed for Members who want to explore different sake styles and flavor profiles.

Flavor Profiles represent general preferences and do not guarantee any specific bottle, brewery, classification, vintage, or flavor characteristic.

4. Seasonal Membership — $99 Every 3 Months

The Seasonal Membership is billed $99 every three (3) months, plus applicable taxes.

Seasonal Members receive:

  • 1 collection every 3 months

  • 3 × 720ml curated sake bottles per collection

  • 1 x Flavor Data Card with each collection

  • 2 complimentary sample pours with each collection pickup

  • 5% off eligible IN Sake Museum workshops

Minimum Commitment

The Seasonal Membership requires a minimum commitment of 2 consecutive subscription cycles.

The minimum membership commitment is therefore:

2 collections × $99 = $198, plus applicable taxes.

The subscription cannot be canceled through the customer subscription portal until the required minimum 2 subscription cycles have been completed.

After the minimum commitment has been completed, the Seasonal Membership will continue to automatically renew every 3 months until canceled.

5. Annual Membership — $356 Per Year

The Annual Membership is $356 per 12-month membership period, plus applicable taxes.

Annual Members receive:

  • 4 collections per membership year

  • 3 × 720ml curated sake bottles per collection

  • 1 x Flavor Data Card with each collection

  • 3 complimentary sample pours as a Sake/Shochu Flight with each collection pickup

  • 5% off eligible IN Sake Museum workshops

  • 2 × $10 Member Coupons per membership year

  • Premium Member Exclusive Events access

The Annual Membership provides at least $40 in annual savings compared with four Seasonal Membership subscription cycles at the current Seasonal Membership price.

Annual Automatic Renewal

The Annual Membership is prepaid and automatically renews every 12 months unless canceled before the next annual renewal.

By enrolling, you authorize IN Sake Museum and its payment processor to charge your payment method $356, plus applicable taxes, at enrollment and at each annual renewal, subject to any properly disclosed future price changes.

Each renewed annual term includes 4 additional collections, generally fulfilled every 3 months.

Where required by applicable law, IN Sake Museum will provide advance notice of an upcoming annual renewal or material change to the renewal terms.

6. Museum Pickup Required

All Sake Club collections are pickup only at IN Sake Museum.

  • Regular shipping is not included in the Sake Club.
  • We will notify you when your collection is ready for pickup.
  • You are expected to pick up your collection within 2 weeks of the pickup notification.
  • Valid government-issued photo identification may be required at pickup.
  • Collections will not be released to anyone under 21.

Special Event Days: To allow our team to focus exclusively on the new sake experience and event service, Sake Club collection pickup will not be available during designated seasonal release events. Members must arrange collection pickup during another available pickup time within the designated pickup period.

7. Complimentary Pickup Benefits

Complimentary tasting benefits are provided with each eligible in-person collection pickup:

  • Seasonal Members: 2 Complimentary Sample Pours with each collection pickup.
  • Annual Members: 3 Complimentary Sample Pours as a Sake/Shochu Flight with each collection pickup.

Complimentary tasting benefits:

  • Are available only when the applicable collection is picked up in person
  • Have no cash value
  • Are available only to persons age 21 or older
  • Are subject to responsible alcohol service requirements
  • Are subject to operating hours and availability
  • May not be transferred or resold

8. Collections Not Picked Up Within 2 Weeks

Members are expected to pick up each collection within 2 weeks of notification.

If you are unable to pick up during the designated period, please contact IN Sake Museum as soon as possible.

Collections not picked up within the designated period will be handled according to our then-current Unclaimed Collection Policy.

Complimentary pickup benefits are available only when the collection is picked up in person.

9. Join Anytime

There is no fixed enrollment cutoff date for joining the Sake Club.

Members may enroll at any time.

If selections or purchasing for the current collection have already been finalized when you enroll, your membership will begin with the next available collection.

For Annual Members, you remain entitled to the 4 collections included in your applicable annual membership term.

10. Workshop Discount

Active Seasonal and Annual Members receive 5% off eligible IN Sake Museum workshops.

Unless otherwise expressly stated, the workshop discount:

  • Applies only to workshops designated as eligible

  • Has no cash value

  • Cannot be applied retroactively

  • May not be combined with other promotions or discounts unless expressly permitted

  • Does not apply to Sake Club membership charges, taxes, gift cards, or excluded events

11. Annual Member Coupons

Annual Members receive 2 separate $10 Member Coupons per membership year.

The coupons:

  • Must be redeemed separately

  • May not be combined with each other in one transaction

  • Have no cash value

  • Cannot be redeemed for cash except where required by law

  • Cannot be applied retroactively

  • May be subject to eligibility and expiration terms disclosed when issued

Unused coupon value is not refundable or redeemable for cash except where required by applicable law.

12. Premium Member Exclusive Events

Premium Member Exclusive Events access is an Annual Membership benefit.

Exclusive events may:

  • Require advance reservations

  • Have limited capacity

  • Be subject to availability

  • Have event-specific terms

  • Include special or limited sake selections

Membership does not guarantee admission to a sold-out or capacity-limited event.

Certain exclusive events may be designated as experience-only events, and collection pickup may not be available during those events.

13. Seasonal Membership Cancellation

Seasonal Membership requires completion of the minimum 2 subscription cycles before cancellation is permitted.

After completing the minimum commitment, you may cancel your Seasonal Membership through your online subscription account/customer portal.

Cancellation through the online customer portal stops future eligible subscription renewals according to the cancellation effective date displayed by the subscription system.

Charges already processed before cancellation becomes effective are generally non-refundable except where otherwise required by law.

14. Annual Membership Cancellation

Annual Membership automatically renews every 12 months.

You may cancel future automatic renewal through your online subscription account/customer portal after your initial Annual Membership purchase.

Canceling automatic renewal means:

  • Your current prepaid Annual Membership remains active through its applicable membership term.

  • You remain entitled to the collections and benefits included in the current paid membership term.

  • The cancellation prevents the next $356 annual renewal charge.

  • Cancellation does not ordinarily result in a prorated refund of the current Annual Membership.

Nothing in this Agreement limits cancellation or refund rights that cannot legally be waived.

15. Payment Authorization

By purchasing a recurring Sake Club Membership, you expressly authorize IN Sake Museum and its authorized payment service providers to securely maintain the payment method associated with your subscription and process authorized recurring charges.

Seasonal

You authorize:

$99 every 3 months, plus applicable taxes

until the subscription is properly canceled after satisfaction of the minimum commitment.

Annual

You authorize:

$356 at enrollment and automatically every 12 months thereafter, plus applicable taxes, unless automatic renewal is canceled before the applicable renewal is processed.

If your payment method expires, is declined, or otherwise cannot be processed, we or our payment provider may contact you to update your payment information.

Membership benefits and future fulfillment may be suspended while an amount remains unpaid.

IN Sake Museum does not require Members to provide full credit card numbers or card security codes directly through this Agreement.

16. Product Availability and Substitutions

Sake Club collections are curated based on factors including seasonality, brewery releases, importer availability, inventory, transportation, and quality.

Specific bottles shown in promotional materials are not guaranteed unless expressly stated.

If a planned bottle becomes unavailable, IN Sake Museum may substitute another sake of reasonably comparable quality or value.

17. Membership Benefits

Membership benefits:

  • Are available only while the applicable membership is active and in good standing

  • Have no cash value unless expressly stated

  • Are not transferable unless expressly permitted

  • May not be combined with other promotions unless expressly permitted

  • May be subject to availability, capacity, operating hours, age requirements, and applicable law

IN Sake Museum may reasonably modify future membership benefits or operating procedures when necessary.

Material changes affecting recurring billing or automatic renewal will be communicated as required by applicable law.

18. Taxes and Pricing

Applicable taxes and other legally required charges may be added to membership purchases.

Membership pricing may change for future renewal periods.

When required by applicable law, Members will receive advance notice before a material price or recurring-payment change becomes effective.

19. Refunds

Except where otherwise required by applicable law:

  • Processed Seasonal subscription charges are non-refundable.

  • Annual Membership charges are non-refundable after processing.

  • Canceling Annual automatic renewal prevents the next annual charge but does not create a prorated refund for the current prepaid membership year.

  • Failure to use complimentary benefits does not create a right to a refund.

Nothing in this Agreement waives any refund or consumer right that cannot legally be waived.

20. Electronic Communications

By enrolling, you consent to receive transactional communications relating to your Sake Club Membership, including:

  • Collection-ready notifications

  • Pickup reminders

  • Billing and payment notices

  • Membership notices

  • Renewal notices

  • Cancellation confirmations

  • Sake Club event and pickup-related information

  • Material changes to membership terms

These transactional communications are separate from optional marketing communications.

21. Electronic Acceptance

By checking the required agreement box and completing your purchase, you acknowledge that:

  • You are 21 years of age or older.

  • You have read and agree to this Sake Club Membership & Subscription Agreement.

  • You understand the price and billing frequency of your selected membership.

  • You understand that your membership involves recurring charges.

  • You authorize the applicable recurring charges to your selected payment method.

  • You understand that Seasonal Membership requires a minimum 2 subscription cycles.

  • You understand that Seasonal Membership continues every 3 months after the minimum commitment until canceled.

  • You understand that Annual Membership automatically renews every 12 months until future renewal is canceled.

  • You understand how to cancel eligible future renewals through your online subscription account/customer portal.

  • You understand that Museum Pickup is required.

  • You agree to pick up each collection within the designated 2-week pickup window.

  • You understand that complimentary tasting benefits are available only with eligible in-person collection pickup and are subject to the terms of this Agreement.

  • You understand that all alcoholic beverage benefits are limited to persons age 21 or older.

22. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California.

Nothing in this Agreement is intended to waive or restrict any consumer protection or other right that cannot legally be waived.
